Commercial Import License (IRC)
A Commercial Import License, officially known as an Import Registration Certificate (IRC), is a mandatory document for any business entity in Bangladesh that wants to import goods for commercial purposes. This license allows a business to import any item that is not on the government’s restricted list, without any value or quantity limits. The IRC is issued by the Office of the Chief Controller of Imports and Exports (CCI&E), which falls under the Ministry of Commerce.

- Valid Trade License
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) / Updated Income Tax Certificate
- National ID or passport copy of applicant
- Bank Solvency Certificate
- Membership Certificate of relevant Chamber or trade organizations
- Memorandum & Article of Association for Limited Company, Partnership Deed for Partnership Firm
- VAT Registration Certificate (BIN)
